Krishan Gonzalez
Educator, Community Leader and Founder of uTutors Academy
Born in El Salvador, Krishan has always been driven by a deep curiosity for how things work—a passion that carried him to Vanderbilt University, where he earned his undergraduate degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science. He later continued his academic journey at the University of Miami, securing a Master's degree in Mathematics and Finance.
While he brings rigorous technical expertise to his work as an AWS Data Security Analyst, Krishan is, at his core, an educator. His teaching journey began as a lead tutor at UM’s Camner Center for Academic Resources. Since then, he has dedicated himself to helping students succeed, serving as a Professor at Barry University and Miami Dade College teaching Mathematics for over 14 years. His commitment to his students is reflected in his outstanding Rate My Professor score of 4.8/5, and it’s this exact same passion for mentorship that drives his vision for uTutors Academy today.
Beyond the classroom and the tech sector, Krishan is deeply invested in the future of the Coral Gables and South Miami communities. As the Head of the Coral Gables Qualified Opportunity Fund, he actively works to foster local economic growth and meaningful community investment.

Each station is equipped with a large, interactive tablet that automatically saves all student and tutor notes. We also utilize camera recordings for every session, ensuring that when your student gets home, they can easily access and review both the visual work and the tutor's exact explanations.
